About Me.

I grew up in Siddipet, a town in Telangana, and studied Computer Science at KL University in Guntur, where I finished with a CGPA of 8.55. Alongside classes I worked as a teaching assistant, writing the lab programs other students learned from, and I became a University Innovation Fellow with Stanford's d.school, running design-thinking workshops that led to two student start-ups.

I joined Accenture in 2021. I started on platform support, fixing 700 incidents in a year and learning how production systems break. That earned me a move into engineering: first a real-time factory data platform for Mars, then a four-region migration off Teradata for a Fortune 500 manufacturer. Accenture's global management committee gave me an accelerated promotion for that work.

In 2026 I joined Cliff Systems as Technical Lead, where I lead PepsiCo's data platform migration across Europe, Asia-Pacific and Africa. Outside work I build things that teach: an open-source tool for proving migrations are correct, and Pathfinder Stories, a site that explains programming through everyday Indian stories.

What I care about most is trust. A dashboard is only useful if the numbers behind it are right, so I spend as much effort proving data is correct as I do moving it.

Prove it, don't assume it

Before anyone relies on migrated data, I produce evidence it matches the original: row by row, not just row counts.

Write it down

Playbooks, runbooks and root-cause notes, so the next person (or the next region) doesn't repeat the same mistake.

Leave the team stronger

I write enablement guides, mentor new joiners, and set up tools with guardrails so people can move faster safely.

Work With Me.

I work full time, so I take on a small number of well-defined projects at a time. Each one has a clear scope and a fixed quote before anything starts.

  1. Describe the problem

Use the form below. Plain language is fine.

  2. A short call

Thirty minutes to agree scope, access and what "done" looks like.

  3. A fixed quote

Fixed price for scoped work, hourly for open-ended help.

  4. Delivery and handover

Working code, documentation and a walkthrough.

Move your data to a modern platform

You're paying for an old database and want to move to the cloud, but don't know what's connected to what. I inventory what you have and give you a plan you can execute, with effort and risks spelled out.

Fixed scope · 1 – 2 weeks

Prove the numbers match

Before you switch off the old system, I prove the new one holds exactly the same data, row by row, with evidence you can show an auditor.

Fixed scope · 1 – 2 weeks

Fix a slow or broken pipeline

A report that's always late, a job that keeps failing, a process nobody dares touch. I find the root cause, fix it, and document it so your team owns it afterwards.

Fixed scope or hourly · Days to 2 weeks

Cut your cloud data bill

Find the tables, jobs and clusters nobody uses any more, and learn what each of your production pipelines actually costs to run.

Fixed scope · About 1 week

See your data live

From sensors, apps or events to a live dashboard in seconds, with alerts when something drifts. The same pattern I built for Mars factories.

Fixed scope · 1 – 3 weeks

Use AI in your data team, safely

Get your engineers productive with AI tools without giving an AI the keys to production. I test the models on your real use cases, connect them to your tools, and set the guardrails.

Workshop + set-up · 1 – 2 weeks

An hour of advice

A call to look at your architecture, a stubborn problem, a permissions model, or a plan you want a second opinion on. Written notes afterwards.

Hourly · 60 – 90 min
I'm not technical. Can we still work together?

Yes. Most of my clients' sponsors aren't engineers. I explain what I'm doing and why in plain language, and the written deliverables are meant to be read by the people who pay for the work, not just the people who maintain it.

How does a project start?

Send a short description through the form. I reply within two working days to set up a scoping call, then send a fixed quote (or an hourly rate for open-ended help) before any work starts.

Do you need access to our systems?

For assessments and audits, read-only access is enough. For builds, I work in your environment under your controls, and I never copy data out of it.

Where are you, and when are you available?

Hyderabad, India (IST). I work with teams in Europe, the US and Asia and will find overlap hours that work for you.

Are you open to full-time roles?

Yes, for the right lead or senior data engineering role. The résumé is on this site, and the contact page is the quickest way to reach me.

Open-source tool · 2026

lakehouse-signoff

Code complete · GitHub release comingData quality · migrations

In plain words

A small tool that proves a copied table is identical to the original. When a company moves data between systems, "the row counts match" isn't enough: two tables can have the same number of rows and still disagree. This tool fingerprints every row on both sides and produces a report an auditor can file.

What it does

  • Catches a lost row and a duplicated row even when the counts still match
  • Ignores harmless differences: NULL vs empty, CHAR padding, letter case, INT vs DECIMAL vs DOUBLE
  • An order-independent fingerprint per table, so two teams can compare one value without sharing data
  • Markdown and JSON reports; a Databricks notebook that files the evidence and stops the pipeline on failure

The technical details

Compares a legacy table with its lakehouse copy on three checks: schema comparison, row counts, and a SHA-256 row-hash reconciliation compared as a multiset, with variance thresholds. A Spark engine runs on Databricks; a pure-Python engine applies the same rules to small extracts and runs the test suite, and a parity suite proves both produce byte-identical hashes.

## fact_sales: NOT SIGNED OFF

| Check | Result | Detail |
|---|---|---|
| Schema comparison | PASS | extra in target (allowed): load_ts |
| Row counts | PASS | source 5, target 5 (0.0000% variance) |
| SHA-256 row hashes | FAIL | 2 source rows without an identical target row (40.0000% variance) |

Pathfinder Stories

In testing before launchEducation · learning platform

In plain words

A website that teaches the fundamentals of programming (data structures and algorithms) through 31 short, interactive 3D stories set in everyday Indian life: a lost page at a wedding hall, a tiffin ladder, a cricket scorer, the last bus home. Each story shows a real problem, a first attempt that fails, the right approach step by step, the traps, and practice questions.

What it does

  • 31 interactive 3D episodes, the first two free
  • Sign-in with one active device per student; progress saved to their account
  • Members-only pages served encrypted with a fresh key each time, plus a visible watermark
  • A readiness check, a mistakes notebook, badges and printable certificates

The technical details

Alongside the episodes: two study guides (DSA and Data), 20 SQL exercises on a deliberately messy dataset, and a "Pattern Gym" of 45 interview-style problems. Students sign in, their progress follows them across devices, members-only pages are encrypted per visit and watermarked, and each season ends with a certificate. A narrator reads every chapter aloud using the device's own voice. Hosted on Cloudflare Pages with Supabase, built by a Python script that checks everything agrees before it publishes.

In plain words

This site is built the way I build data platforms. Every night it pulls my GitHub activity, keeps a history that never ages out, checks the data, and republishes itself. A new blog post is just a text file; the site picks it up and goes live within minutes. I designed and built it together with Claude Code.

What it does

  • Daily GitHub tracking with streaks and history
  • Blog from Markdown files, with scheduling and drafts
  • A read-only SQL console over the site's own data, for curious visitors

The technical details

A Python pipeline with bronze, silver and gold layers, data-quality expectations that fail the build when content is wrong, and a GitHub Actions deploy to GitHub Pages. The architecture diagrams on this site are generated as SVG at build time from a small layout file.

Leading PepsiCo's move to one modern, governed data platform

Technical Lead, Data Engineering·Cliff Systems LLP·client: PepsiCo

What they needed

PepsiCo's European sales-analytics platform, its Asia-Pacific supply-chain data and its South African finance pipelines all sat on older systems. They needed to move to one modern, governed platform without anyone losing trust in the numbers.

What I did

I lead the move. I set the standards the team builds to, run the release process, and sign every table off with proof that the new copy matches the old one. I also built a loader that publishes a 51-billion-row table to downstream users inside a one-hour window, and unblocked a stuck deployment pipeline by bringing 739 settings back under Azure's limit of 256.

What changed

Three migrations now run under one standard, with audit-ready evidence for every table, and the team uses AI-assisted engineering with guardrails I put in place.

How it fits together. Data from three older systems (left) lands in the governed platform, a sync publishes it to downstream users (right), and every table passes the sign-off checks at the bottom before it counts.
source systemscollecting & schedulingprocessinggovernancecheckswhere people use it

The technical details

  1. Designed and built a config-driven Unity Catalog → ADLS Delta sync framework (Databricks notebook, JSON table registry, ADF orchestrator) with full-refresh and MERGE modes, parallel fan-out, run-overlap protection, dry-run mode and tiered verification.

    51B rows · 1h window
  2. Built the migration sign-off framework: schema comparison, row counts and SHA-256 multiset row-hash reconciliation across Databricks workspaces with variance-threshold gating, producing audit-ready evidence for production approval.

    audit-ready
  3. Converted complex nested Teradata views and staging tables to Spark SQL and PySpark, re-pointing acquisition-layer views to enterprise foundation master data through hash-based join keys, with production grant standards and automated QA checks.

  4. Defined the Unity Catalog and Synapse migration playbook: governed external-location access, clone-versus-CTAS copy strategy, Delta transaction-log recovery from checkpoints, and T-SQL → Spark SQL semantic-parity rules.

  5. Leading the split of one Azure Data Factory into two regional factories (UK and US); re-engineered ARM template parameterization to unblock CI/CD and drive PreProd/Prod configuration parity.

    739 → ≤256 params
  6. Built decommissioning and FinOps tooling: a schema-usage audit over Databricks system tables plus workspace, job, pipeline and dashboard scans; a cross-repository ADLS dependency inventory; and Azure run-cost models from rate-card pricing and pipeline telemetry.

  7. Led AI adoption for project teams: evaluated frontier LLMs, then rolled out LLM-assisted code generation, review, audits and documentation with guardrails (restricted Databricks data access, verification rules, dry-run defaults, human review).

Moving a global manufacturer off Teradata, in four regions

Senior Analyst, Full-Stack Engineering·Accenture·client: Fortune 500 global manufacturer

What they needed

A Fortune 500 manufacturer wanted to retire its Teradata warehouse, which ran on thousands of lines of old scripts, and move everything to Azure Databricks across Europe, Asia-Pacific, Africa/Middle East and North America.

What I did

I rebuilt the data pipelines on the new platform, replaced the old script-based scheduling with modern orchestration, hardened the release process so deployments stopped failing on timing issues, and owned the proof that the new data matched the old at go-live.

What changed

Four regions went live on the new platform, with a written root-cause for every mismatch found on the way, so the same mistakes weren't repeated in the next region.

The technical details

  1. Analyzed BTEQ and KSH jobs and Teradata DDL, implemented Delta models in a layered medallion architecture, and built PySpark and Spark SQL pipelines with hash-based surrogate keys and error-quarantine tables.

  2. Built PySpark MERGE pipelines for SAP BW-origin tables and JDA / Blue Yonder supply-chain feeds, with automated staging validation and per-step freshness and volume audits.

  3. Replaced KSH and BTEQ orchestrators and trigger-file generation with Databricks Workflows backed by Delta control tables, plus ADF and Event Grid gatekeeper pipelines that confirm every load in a dependency set through the ADF REST API before publishing completion events.

  4. Hardened ADF CI/CD release automation with PowerShell retry logic (exponential backoff, pre-flight gates) for control-plane eventual consistency, and root-caused cross-environment drift in trigger and Event Grid configuration.

  5. Resolved count and type discrepancies from Teradata-to-Spark semantic differences (case sensitivity, numeric overflow) and Delta write concurrency, with documented root-cause analysis.
